This week January hounds,

So we are coming to the end of a rather difficult week, snow and lots of it hit the High Peak. I lost a full day of work on Tuesday, I was literally snowed in, as were most my clients, we live off Macclesfield Road Whaley Bridge, so when the weather is bad we often walk to the main road to see the carnage unfolding, lots and lots of people making lots of unnecessary journeys and skidding and struggling up and down the road, this time around it out did itself, eventual the road was closed. After Tuesday had a okay day Wednesday , the high light being lovely lunch time walk I did up Lantern Pike, thick snow on the ground, all the hills around covered in snow the sky was blue and cloud free and sun was shinning, lovely weather for a dog walker.

Today was Fursday, and very foggy it was too, I enjoyed a walk up Taxal with the Whaley Bridge dogs, then I had a quieter than usual lunch time walk Charlie from Chapel-en-le-Frith and Oscar Birch Vale and we hiked up Lantern Pike.  Picture is from yesterday Lantern Pike. Dog walking and cat sitting, this is a blog all about our dogs. We walk in small groups, around the Peak District, our walks include Goyt Valley, Hayfield, and many more.
