so its been a lovely day, weather wise, absolute glorious evening I have just got in from my fourth walk my dogs third walk, at 8 pm the sun was shinning we did the field off Macclesfield road and walked to the village of Taxal and then we jogged home, my little doggy Scrappy has had so much energy this last week, I have now succeeded in tiring him out !
So for work I have done three one hour dog walks and a cat sitting, as a dog walker I look for proper walks for the dogs, dog friendly places, steep terrain, interesting places for them quiet places that allow lots of time off leads for them, in and around the High Peak.
This morning I took Whaley Bridge dog walking clients Pippa a westie and her brother Arthur a schnauzer and two other of my Whaley clients Bobbie and Bridie, female cockapoo sisters. My dog Scrappy Shih Tzu came along and we did just over a one hour walk in Taxal, we did not see a soul dogs were off leads the entire way their and back. After that I dropped everyone off, and began picking up the dogs for the lunch time walk, one in Chinley, two in Chapel-en-le-Frith and one in Birch Vale which is were we did our third dog walk, lantern pike doggy hike for Betty a cavachon, puppies Ozzie a Norfolk terrier and Ralph a Lhasa apso and Oscar a cavapoo ! I dropped them off and came home to get my dog, then I was back to New Mills, to feed cats, Beatrice and Orlando, then we went to do Marios toilet visits, Mario is this jet black absolutely stunning cocker spaniel.
I realised straight away he was better, he’s had a cough something to do with pollen according to the vet but I was terrified it might be the dreaded kennel cough so he came off walks and went to toilet visits, anyway he was fine next clients are vaccinated, so with my dog and Mario we were off back to Whaley Bridge to pick up more Whaley Bridge clients for our third and final walk, Amy a German shepherd and her rescue cross sister Ruby, and we had a beautiful walk at Toddbrook, absolute beautiful place this time of the year. Then I was back to New Mills dropping Mario and then finally headed home back to Whaley Bridge, as you can see I do a lot of driving in this job, collecting and dropping off the doggies!
