September first week.

So its been a busy chaotic first week back after my holidays and worse bit is weather has changed. So need to get my dog coats out, my waterproofs and possibly buy new dog coats and waterproofs as we head into six months of wet weather. Most of the dogs are okay when it comes to walking in the rain, some get shivery and cold when wet ! When we move house, my current house is up for sale, we are looking for a bigger garden and extra room so I can start to do some daycare from the house, very low scale, the few daycare positions would be offered to current dog walking clients first, it might mean walks get a bit quieter on wet days but thats all a long way off in my planning !

So at the moment I am not advertising we lost our search engine top place for all the new dog walkers, lucky for me, having my current clients and word of mouth means not advertising and loosing search engine top positions has not affected us as a small business, I am now using the blog as way to tell people all about Little Happy Hounds, what we get up to as a small local pet care business in the High Peak.

After taking a week off last week I am of course working this weekend, I infact have cat sitting clients booked in now every weekend for the whole of September, I am feeding cat Bertie next two mornings, in Whaley Bridge, he belongs to Milly a labradoodle I walk, and as a one off looking after Eustace just one visit today, which I don’t mind at all, as they are very nice clients and look after me, they let me pick veg from their garden when I look after their cat in the summer, so I get lots of tomatoes, blue berries all sorts, just for watering a few plants and looking after the most handsome siamese cat ever, in fact a cat sitting since 2014. The other thing I have agreed to do today I walk Fritz, he is a four year old miniature schnauzer client of mine since he was 3 months old, lives in Chinley, anyway he is full force of nature when it comes to personality, he is very sweet dog, I walk him regularly four walks a week.  I have dog clients all over, quite a few in Whaley Bridge, some in New Mills & Birch Vale, a few in Chinley and we also now have quite a lot we see regular in Chapel-en-le-Frith, as a dog walker i offer time off leads, playtime, exercise. I prefer dog nature walks so avoid parks and low level walks, as well looking after pets in the high peak for over six years now I am fully insured, a trusted key holder, offering years of experience, at Little Happy Hounds, we pride ourselves on the level of care we offer, I feel like we are often a huge family, I treat the dogs and cats like they were my own pets when I am with them and I know my clients often bump into each other especially in and around Whaley Bridge.
