The last few days for the New Year have been a busy one for Little Happy Hounds and as ever the weather for a dog walker has been such a challenge as it always is in January, yesterday was freezing but clear blue skies and sun was blinding so I had very poor visual with a group of dogs its terrible as I like too look ahead the whole time, then today it was foggy and just really really cold. So I tend too start my first walk in Whaley Bridge as I have a number of dog walking clients in Whaley on the late morning walk, then on the afternoon walk I tend too walk in Birch Vale or Hayfield, with my Chapel-en-le-Frith, Chinley, New Mills and Birch Vale dogs.
I have been dog walking in and around Birch Vale and Hayfield for years, we have a number of dogs in this area and we also have a few cat sitting clients. Yesterday and today we walked from Thornsett Lane up too Lantern Pike, on a extended walk, there are foot paths and bridal ways all the way up there. As its winter there are less sheep around so there are more dog friendly walks, so my other favourites places too take the happy hounds is the snake path twenty trees and up to the shooting cabin. So yesterday we did three one hour walks today was a quieter day we did two one hour walks tomorrow I am very busy indeed so early night for me.
