So one of my favourite walks to do especially this time of year is Errwood Hall Ruins, the Goyt Valley, not far from Whaley Bridge.
I tend to go at the weekend with just my own dog scrappy. This time of year the azaleas and rhododendrons are amazing. As a dog walker its great as its also one of the very few places in the Goyt Valley that doesn’t have nesting season signs up March to July dogs on leads and their are no sheep ! I tend to only take clients there at the weekends as it takes longer to get to and I also stay to long so it doesn’t work when I have three one hour walks to fit into one day ! I find Errwood very dog friendly, I have scrappy off lead and we often meet friendly dogs there most of the time we don’t see anyone.
