So its been a hectic weekend, cat visiting Ole and Tin, Cat, and Eustace and yesterday was my birthday ! We met up with a few friends and their dogs and had walk from Valley Road Hayfield up to Mount Famine, we had booked a table in George pub Hayfield, but to say they were un-dog friendly and rude is a understatement at this point we just had two dogs as the other two went home, they were trying to tell me one area was not dog friendly however a month ago I was sat there with my dog and the place they tried to sit us was horrible drafty area near a darts board and massive TV, so I would say for a dog friendly pub avoid the George in Hayfield spend your money else were, we ended up the Pack Horse Hayfield, the food was okay I thought veggie options were limited and portion size was tiny-however the main thing is they had no problems with two dogs and a third one joining us, its the right kind of attitude when your in a pub in a village in the middle of the walking mecca of Derbyshire -dog holidays aside its the weekend everyone is walking their dog.
So our pet sitting service which is mostly cat sitting covers, Whaley Bridge were we are based, this weekend we had clients in Chapel-en-le-Frith, New Mills, and Birch Vale, we also cover Chinley, Buxworth and Furness Vale and have regular cats we often see in those areas, in the High Peak. Picture below is Ole and Tintin was a short duration this time Saturday morning and Sunday Morning, indoor cats just need feeding and litter tray maintained, Ole is very tactile and Tintin just wants her dreamies. We also have quite a few new cat sitting clients in the new housing developments in Chapel, Long Lane and Sovereign way and now Forge Manor Chinley, which are very much areas Little Happy Hounds and cats covers. Other services in include dog walking and puppy visits.
