There is a feeling in the air that winter soon maybe over, snow drops out in force, daffodils looks like their about to flower, and little happy hounds, is feeling fresh and renewed.
as ever few changes at Little Happy Hounds, already for 2017. So we maybe looking for new dog walking clients and we will be looking for new pet sitting clients. With my dogs, i go on interesting walks, make sure they get lots of time off lead, they can explore, sniff, roam ( to a point) and enjoy a nice adventure with the other dogs, the one hour does not start till we get to the location, so i am sometimes with my clients about 2 hours with travel, we often go up Lantern Pike, as I have a client up there, we often go up Eccles Pike, but we stop going up once the sheep and cows arrive. On quieter days I go Goyt Valley, we have to avoid some places during March and July as its bird nesting seasons so dogs can’t be off leads, i still know a few places were they can! I often take my Whaley Bridge clients to Toddbrook Reservoir, as its nice and wooded, great for a doggy swim. I have lots of other places. With the pet sitting and it is mostly cats although i do have some multi pet households on my books, one lady who is booked in for August has three Guinea Pigs, Fin, Wheatley and Kev, and two cats Noah and Tilly, so i have experience looking after Guinea pigs, rabbits, Degu, Chickens, indian running ducks and cats lots and lots of cats !!!
I am cat crazy the only reason we do not have one personally is a i have a terrier type dog and in our last house the cat collecting neighbours cats use to tease him from being a puppy. I have that many regular cat customers i set up their own Facebook page link below, it has 10 great reviews on it already since last year. Just because the cat pictures were vanishing with all the dogs pictures and also i wanted to a new name as Little Happy Hounds, does not include cats, so we now are also Little Happy Cats, I have regular clients i see a few times each year, in Hague Bar, Whaley Bridge, New Mills, Hayfield, Buxworth, Chinley, Furness Vale, Chapel-en-le-Frith, I get new enquiries new bookings every few weeks so i am glad to report that as a business its ticking over nicely as caring for cats is something i really enjoy doing.
