wash out summer busy busy…

so its been crazy busy last few weeks, and its also been a very wet summer, non stop raining. So July and August we have taken on new cat sitting clients, new dog walking clients, plus lost of other cat regulars have booked in. We are now in August I have worked every day now weekends included till my holiday end of August. We are now five years old and business is booming, feeling very lucky and very fortunate, offering my caring,  personalised service is paying off,

So despite the rain, I have been on some pretty amazing walks, yesterday, Saturday, sister Amy and Ruby were booked in and I was also looking after another client a dog called Oscar, along with my dog so we took them for a nice long walk around the back of Lyme Park, Disley over the border in Cheshire, from Bowstones, around the moor, up to paddock Ridge and back again. My other favourite walk that I have done most morning sfo the last two or three weeks, and sometimes at the weeknend is the Goyt Valley specifically Fernilee.

Cat sitting, has been crazy, which is great as I have a number of dogs off for summer break, so as a small business, more cat care work, cushions the financial loss of the term time dogs taking time off. We have had some long durations for some of my cats, shorter ones for others, still have several large bookings about too commence for August, Cat being one of them, client since 2014, the other being Fagin and Casper, also looked after them now and then since 2014, this weekend, and next weekend I am looking after, Dusty, Rosie, Scrappy Marmaduke, same household,  we are also looking after cats Noah and Tilly and their guinea pigs, Fin and Kev, tomorrow we also have. ancient three day duration for cats I cared for at Christmas time, Watson and Tilly, we are also looking after Eetsace nd Roary at the moment, more I could mention, be sure too find me on facebook as I do daily status updates lots of pics of my pet sitting and dog walking adventures. I can only put. a few pics at a time on these posts, lost more on Facebook, instagram, twitter.

Lastly we took on new ad-hoc casual dog a whippet called Poppy last week, I have walked her about three times from tomorrow she is booked in Monday to Friday for the next two weeks, then this weekend I also went to meet another duo of dogs Millie and Bertie, I was recommend to them from my friend another dog walker and their current dog walker, she can’t do the days and times they want, I have a huge gap on Monday lunch time walk so it made sense, they are crosses, Bertie is young older puppy, sausage dog crossed with springer. Anyway they start their walks tomorrow, going to see how it goes next few weeks, I suspect haven met them they are going to fit with the Monday and Tuesday lunch time crew no probs. Its worth mentioning all our new clients last few weeks, three new cat sitting clients, and two new dog walking clients are all based in New Mills, which is still very much an area we cover, when I first started out as a dog walker in 2012 in New Mills, I was one of only a few in our area that were using social media, website etc as a pet care business, the idea has of course caught on now, lots of dog walkers in New Mills especially, and quite a few of the smaller quality businesses  I do recommend. So as ever we cover New Mills, Whaley Bridge, were we are based, we also have clients, feline and canine, in Chapel, Chinley, Furness Vale, Buxworth, Birch Vale, and Hayfield, High Peak.
